When I first met Sean, I had just taken on a bet that I couldn’t run 8 miles – knowing full well that, at that moment in time, I couldn’t run 100 yards that was no easy challenge!
We started walking and running short distances, and slowly built up the running so that I ran a mile, then 2 miles, then 3 and so on – it was hard work, with lots of challenges along the way. As Sean always says everyone finishes a session with him wishing they’d never turned up! True comment, but definitely worth it when the benefits begin to appear!
I completed the 8 mile run earlier this year, and it was such an amazing achievement. A few months later Sean and I ran a half marathon distance, even more amazing! So, thanks Sean, I know I wouldn’t have done it without you running beside me, you have been a great motivation to me, and a pretty good Personal Trainer too! I would have no hesitation in recommending Sean to anyone – his company is very aptly named – Transformations – give it a go, it works!
Since turning 30 and giving up smoking I managed to put on 2 stone! I decided to join the Gym and soon enlisted in several classes, I was getting fitter but I still wasn’t achieving what I wanted. This was especially important to me as I was due to get married in 3 months and the thought of not fitting into my dress was terrible!
That is when I decided to hire a Personal Trainer. Sean designed a diet and exercise program for me and we met up once a week to train. I wasn’t really sure what to expect before I started but with a bit of hard work the weight soon came off. Within 10 weeks I was down to my goal weight and back into a size 12! As well as hitting my target weight I also learnt a lot about fitness and will continue to follow my exercise plan. I would recommend hiring Sean to anyone; he kept me motivated, knows what he is doing & most importantly helped me lose weight!
When I first met Sean I was overweight, unfit and had no confidence.
I had joined a gym but was too scared to use any of the machines. Therefore, I hired Sean initially as my bodyguard in the gym, providing encouragement and support to actually attend. As my confidence slowly increased I decided to attempt some challenges. This began with a Race for Life fun run of 3 miles. Sean taught me to run and we gradually built up the distance until I could run 3 miles. Following this I decided to cycle the 60 mile London to Brighton bike ride, climb the 3 peaks and to run a marathon.
Sean was with me every step of the way and I managed to complete all of the above challenges. I enjoyed the marathon so much that I have just completed a second one in a much improved time and I am now training for the London triathlon. I couldn’t have completed them without Sean. Throughout, he has provided motivation and encouragement. He has pushed me to my limits, but more importantly through believing in me, he made me believe in myself. Sean has totally transformed my life. I am now confident, fit and a healthy weight.
My “motivation to change” came when I saw a holiday snap of me taken last June. I didn’t recognize the person sitting on the beach as me. So, I decided to get serious about getting fit and slimmer.
From that first meeting Sean worked with me to set some goals for both weight loss and fitness. I met with Sean twice a week to train and I won’t lie, it was hard work but guess what… things started to change. The weight dropped. My legs felt firmer and are those my stomach muscles I can see as my muffin top reduced?
Two weeks before Christmas and some 3 months after starting with Sean I hit my target weight of 10 stone 5; a loss of some 20+ pounds. Add to that a complete change in body shape and feeling fitter than I did when I was 20 years old and you could say that Sean has lived up to his company name. I’ve just ordered my Size 10 wedding dress as well. I couldn’t have done it without his support and advice along the way.
The weekend bootcamp represents excellent value for money. The classes were varied, fun and challenging. I personally tried many new exercises that I hadn’t done before and learnt a lot from the weekend in terms of nutrition and fitness.
Sean instructed each class with the utmost expertise and kept everyone challenged and motivated across the wide range of abilities and fitness levels that were in attendance.
The location is an area of natural beauty and having a nature reserve, beach and lovely scenery around you when you are working out made the whole experience more enjoyable.
